Each layer of the coaxial cable is important and has an impact on the best solution for the customer’s application.
Conductor: transmission signal. copper or copper clad steel.
First shielding layer (foil): The first layer of the cable shielding. Usually made of metal bands, such as aluminum/polyester/aluminum.
Second shielding (weaving): Used to protect the signal from outside interference. by wire or metal (copper) Al (aluminum) woven cable around.
Third shielding (foil): three-layer shielded cable on the metal strip, in order to obtain a higher shielding.
Sheath: Protects the cable from external environment. Use PVC or Low smoke halogen free (indoor) or PE (outdoors).
